What Makes a House a Home

What makes a house a home When it's standing all alone Is it the big brown doors Or the shiny wooden floors No, it's the love in the house Even enough for a mouse It's the fights that echo all through the night It's the tails that are red Shared in your cozy bed Dad's tickles that will make you jiggle Squeal and squirm and wiggle What makes a house a home Is where I may stay and roam Some people don't have a place to stay So they can't spend their life that way It may be a dream to the homeless But it's not hopeless Together we can end homelessness And cancel loneliness
