There is no place like home

It’s commonly thought that a true home possesses the following qualities: safety and love. I believe that no matter how big or small the home, all it needs is love. When there isn’t any love, it’s not a true home. Unfortunately, some people don’t have homes, and homes are necessary in order to protect and shelter us. We can help others by donating money to support their financial needs. Some people have to move around for career-related reasons, so there isn’t a place that they actually think of as home, but this doesn’t happen very often. There is an example from the movie The Wizard of Oz: Dorothy had to click her heels together and mutter, “There’s no place like home. There’s no place like home.” When she appeared back home, her aunt and uncle lovingly embraced her. As you can see, even though they lived in a small, one-room house, it was big enough for an enormous amount of passion and warmth. A home doesn’t need to have four walls, be a physical place, or even be yours! Instead, it could be a feeling. For example, if someone regularly explores a garden, they become attached to it, and thinks of it as their second home. One usually suffers from budgeting issues for their home, and we can feel empathy towards them and contribute money. Our lives aren’t all about just us, it’s about others, too. To me, home is for building new memories and finding old ones. Home also provides privacy, which you would need through times of stress or sadness. A feeling of home can have many bumps in the road. If someone you loved that had lived in that house passed away, the feeling of home can fade a bit, because a feeling of grief and despair replaced the feeling of the happiness that they had felt when the person they loved was still alive. But, what happens to the feelings of a child whose parents divorced? A child whose parents had permanently separated can feel devastation or anger, and their home might feel like a puzzle that has one piece missing. It is frustrating for a young person to know that one person who lived in their home has left, and a layer of emptiness settled on the family household. It’s difficult to hold in the misery of the divorce, so it’s best to let it all out. Home is an ideal consolation for all kinds of situations, especially to people who really need it. Home is the one and only place for people to feel comfortable around their surroundings.
