Meaning of Home

"Home that our feet may leave but not our hearts" -Oliver Wendell Holmes, Sr When I think about home I think about happiness, safety, and being loved. I think about family and friends. To me, Home is a place of mind, home does not have to be a house. It's where you are greeted by loving parents and siblings. Where you are the happiest, the most loved. It is a wonderful place to relax and think happy thoughts. To think; “this is where I belong, where I can be myself”. Home is different to many people, but in the end … It means happiness, safety, and all in-between. I’m here thinking; what if there was no home to go back to; to feel safe in, to feel happy in, to feel loved? I think if there was no home, we would probably feel sad and lonely or maybe we would still be happy. I prefer the happy ending and think most people will too. ? ?
