Home and a House

Every night I sleep in my bed, every morning I wake up in my home. I know in my home I am loved and safe, but let's start from the beginning. Before moving we had a bungalow ( Main floor + basement ) it was a cozy home and I lost something big when we moved ( bright open space, my home )and I went into a house not my home, it felt like I went to someone else's dark basement when we arrived, the walls were light brown and the accent was dark brown, when you went into the backyard there was a tiny patch of grass, a rotting porch, a playhouse with nails in the ceiling, and a breaking down patio, everything felt dark and gloomy. Over the years we slowly turned the house around. We put in a red front door with a giant window that made such a big difference!!! We put in a red sofa and yellow chairs in our sunken living room, in our front living room we put 2 rocking chairs and a blue couch. Finally we painted our walls! The colours are teel, really light gray, purple, and a light blue, and finally we painted the doors a dark purple. Now I call it my home not a house, a home my home!
