The Memories Along the Way

I remember the icy snow slowly, and gently falling from the sky during the winter, landing on the roof, turning it into a gleaming white masterpiece. Jumping into that huge pile of leaves that had fallen in Autumn. My sister, waiting for me at the door every day as I quickly sprint to the entrance, listening to the beeping sound of my electronic door lock as it opened, leading me into the house. My white and brown dog dashing toward me, full of contentment that someone had finally arrived home. Rushing to the back door waiting to open, my dog traverses around the green grassy backyard as I watch sitting on my comfortable stool. My home is my family, where they are. No matter if they’re away, they’re still my family. My family is merry but sometimes full of sorrow. I’m always joyful to be with my family even when they’re mad at me. I always remember my grandfather who has mournfully passed away. He will always have a place inside my heart. My grandmother lives in China far away from us. We occasionally meet her when we can, and share much love.
