What makes your home a home? At home I feel safe and comforted as I play board games and watch movies with my family. Every day when I get home from school, and I walk through the door, I hear my dogs bark with a joyful smile. I love the weekends at home because it’s when I’m with my family the most, even though I fight with my sister every now and then. Without the fighting, my home would be silent and might start turning into a house. I’m very grateful I have a family to spend time with and make new happy memories that we can cherish forever. I am also very thankful that I have four wonderful dogs to pet and snuggle with - Bella, Rosie, Remington and Maverick. Every night at the dinner table my family and I dive into my parents cooking and I’m thankful that we can have a healthy meal together. Every night as I slowly fall asleep, I remember the memories that are kept in our home. Every day I hear my family laughing and making new memories. Home is also at my trailer - my family calls it our second home. It’s our home in the summer. Home is where the family is. My mom decorates our home with signs with grateful messages. These signs represent home to me. A house is too boring, it has no life in it and it’s grey, white and black. It’s scary dark and has spiders, but a home, or my home, is where I feel strong and my best because there's a family in it.
