Home is much more than a house, It’s where love resides in high amounts Where the ones that we hold dear, Never leave us alone, they’re always near Home is someplace we always feel safe It's where we can goof and play The thought of judgment never a weight Where we feel accepted without debate Home is filled with so much fun The sound of laughter warm like the sun Where sibling rivalry begins But in the end, the love for each other wins Home is where we always feel heard WIthout anything at all being awkward It’s where we can share our pride Where we never feel like we have to hide Home is also a feeling that can be taken overseas It’s a feeling of comfort, understanding and family Home doesn’t have to be a specific place It’s a feeling within us I hope someday everyone will have a home Where there is unconditional love and they are never alone Where everyone is respected and held close Where their inner beauty always glows That is home, the amazing place Where we are always safe
