What home means to me

Hello habitat for humanity, Home is where I can feel loved. Feeling loved can mean you're happy and enjoy the time you get with your family in your home. Home can be where you are, and take care of yourself. Just to feel safe, I will talk all about these in my text. I hope you enjoy it. One reason is by taking care of yourself, you can take care of yourself by having self care day or night. That can mean just having some alone time. You also can clean your room that can make you feel good about yourself and be productive. Just do something that makes you happy or something that just makes you feel good about yourself. Something that can help that I do sometimes is go to your room and have some alone time. Just by doing something that makes you happy. Another reason is by doing something that makes it feel like home. It could be sitting down and talking to a friend or family member. Just having time to yourself and maybe even having self care night or day. When I have a long day at school and I'm going home to my dog, I like to sit on the couch with him with a blanket and a snack. Just spending a good time with my dog watching a movie or a show it makes me feel happy and safe. If I had a bad day at school and I go home my dog makes me feel better and happy. Sometimes home can be a place where I can just feel welcome and have a peaceful night, or day. At home I love to lay down in my bed with my dog Rubble. I have 6 people in my family so if I feel sad or need someone to talk to so if I need someone to talk to I will go to my mom, dad, brothers or even my dog if I feel like I need someone to talk to I have all them when I talk to them it makes me feel good happy safe loved and so much more, I love to spend time with them. One more reason is that at home you can be silly, crazy happy and just have fun. Home can be anywhere at a hotel or at a house apartment. When you're home no one can tell you things that you don't like or they can't tell where to go. What to do at home is where you can do what you like and no one can make fun of you or be mean. You have control of what you do or don’t do. It's a safe place to be open about what you like. A house will always be in one place, a home can be wherever you would like it to be. When you're at home you can be cozy in a blanket on the couch and eat something you love. I have talked about what home means to me.
