What Home Means to Me

This paragraph is about my home. One thing that home means to me is that my family lives there, my mom, my dad, and my brother and we make memories to remember all the fun things that we shared. Home is where I have walls and a roof to stay warm and stay cold if it is summer. Home is where me and my brother yell at each other and then go outside and laugh and play. Home is where we celebrate different traditions and give love to each other. Home is where I feel safe and cozy so I can site by the fire and watch a movie with my family on Christmas morning. Home is where I can go for walks and play with my dog in the back yard. Home is where I can site on the deck and have lunch with my family and play all I want. Home is where we can go out and have a campfire when there is a full moon and watch the northern lights. Home is where my dog chases my cat well my mom tries to make supper. Home is where I can cuddle with my dog at night and give her belly rubs. Home is where I can watch a movie and have popcorn. Home is where I can have my close cousin for a sleepover and have a midnight snack. Home is where I have family gathering for thanksgiving for a big dinner. Home is where my mom makes good food that we can have for supper. Home is where my dad makes a skating rink so then we can skate all day and play hockey. Home is where my family and I get to have a nice dinner in peace well the dog gets every crumb that falls on the floor. Home is where I get to go sledding in the winter and take the dog for a long walk in our field. Home is where I can go swimming in the pool well my mom sits and watches us swim. Home is where I can have a friend over for a campfire and play in the dark waiting for the moon to come out and shine on the lake. Home is where I can just be myself and forget about the ups and downs. Home is where I get to see my grandma and grandpa when they come for a visit. Home is where I can sit by the fire and drink hot chocolate and eat marshmallows. Home is where I can listen to music draw. Home is where I can play video games with my brother. Home is where I bond with my family. Home is where I can practice my sports. Home is where I get to relax and not have to do anything. Thank you Habitat for humanity for giving this opportunity to children across Canada to be able to help those in need.
