What Home Means to Me

Home is not a house. A home can be anywhere. A home doesn’t just have to be a house. A home for a homeless person might be an alleyway. It can be a place to rouse. Home is not one place, but it is a space. If you are feeling depressed home is the place to express yourself, if you need assistance, home is the place to go if you need support. Home means a lot, home is a place where you feel comfortable, you are free to do whatever you want. You can be yourself with no one judging you. Home is where you can stay and do what you want if you have permission. Home is a place where you stay and are happy where you are. You feel involved in whatever you, or your group are doing. Home is that place to go at the end of the day and see your family/girlfriend and relax when you are tired. If you are feeling beat down your home is where you can work out your feelings. And without that, life is much harder for people that don't have homes, and that's not okay. I think that everyone should have homes available to them, because if someone does not, they won't have those feelings of joy and being safe. Thats why I think everyone should have a home, and what home means to me.
