My Definition of Home

My Definition of Home By: Galiena S. A home is a place where I can feel loved, supported, and embraced. A house is just a place, where I'm alone, just on my own with no one to guide me. A home is a place where I can hear my cat purring in my lap, as he slowly falls into a nap. A house is just a place where there's no cat, or no map to lead my way. A home is a place where I can smell my moms delicious, famous, banana bread! She spreads the bread, so we can’t fight over who gets the last piece. A house is just a place that's only four walls and a roof. Nothing special, not even leakproof. A home does not always have to be your house, it could be anywhere! It could be your school, the pool, dance classes, or even your friend's house. Home means a place that you could feel loved, encouraged, supported, and happy. Everyone's definition of home is different, but this is what home means to me.
