Home

What is home? Home is the place you go to feel safe in the space you feel happy. When I say home, I don’t imagine a house, I imagine the family inside with all the love I feel inside it. But with that knowledge anywhere can be home even if it’s not a house. Anywhere you feel happy, safe, and loved, that is a house to me. When I think of home, I think of all the family nights playing hide and seek, uno, and tag with my brothers, sisters, and cousins, watching movies and just spending time with the people I love that happened inside that space that we all call a house. So, what home means to me is love, to be loved, to know that I am heard by my loved ones. Home, when people say home, most people think of a house. No think of all the love inside it. Home feels safe, a safe space for me, the place I can breathe is the best space for me. My home is where amazing memories are made, and I never have to be afraid of home. I love home, and home will be forever a safe space for me. So, what home means to me is love, comfort, and happiness. Home is my safe zone where I can be myself whenever I want it to be, and I don’t have to be afraid and act like someone I’m not. Home is the place where I can thrive and be alive in the space called a house. A house is not a home unless you make it one. I love home.
