Home is Something

Home is not always a four sided place with a roof like any other house. Home is a place where I love and where I truly belong when something occurs. Home is a place where I truly belong from when I get home after school to when I finish all my work after school. When I'm at home, all my worries from my schoolwork just vanish in my mind as I lay on the sofa. Home is a place where music plays through the living room and where valuable memories flow through my mind when I think about them. Every day in the kitchen, my mom’s cooking always makes a wonderful smell you will never find anywhere else in the world. Home feels like a soft bed waiting for me every day after school. The tastes of my mom’s specialties always make me remember the loving home that I live in. My home looks like no ordinary place in the entire world that you've ever seen in your life. I thank Habitat for Humanity for making this world a better place to live in and for providing people with safe affordable houses to live in.
