When The Lights Go Out

When I came home from school, I went into my house, and suddenly everything went black. It was still cozy and warm. I sat down in my chair and read a book using a flashlight. I heard my dad step through the front door. I hugged him and told him, “The lights are out!” My dad replied, “We can still play games.” We sat in a circle and we played snakes and ladders and I almost won that game. I picked up the game and put it away and after we read the bible I went to sleep. My home is like love, my home is like joy, my home is like family,my home is like happiness, my home is full of faithfulness.
