What Home Means to Me

Home to me is the safe comfort of my home and the familiar sounds and the comforting vibe it gives off. My room comforts me with its familiar look. I hear the whirr of the washing machine and the clatter of dishes in the kitchen from my mother cooking dinner. My resin animals gazing at me from the shelf just waiting. I see the assortment of mechanical pencils on the familiar whiteness of my desk. I feel love in my mother’s embrace. I see the fireplace with its flames dancing about gracefully. I taste the tasty unique Korean food my mother makes, but having a loving family and a family that cares about me is what home means to me.
