Meaning of Home

My home, my haven, the place where I am alive, It’s more than just a mere spot where I make sure I survive. It is where I strive to be my best. The spot where I can finally rest. Home is where love goes around Home is where hate isn’t found When we are together, kindness abounds. The walls of the building don’t define it. It’s the work inside it, where we never quit. We’re not perfect, sometimes we hit-or-miss. My heart is happy in my home, I have the freedom to go around and roam. I don’t feel locked in it, like a dome.
