Meaning of Home

Home is more than just a place with walls and a roof. To me home is a safe place with my family that loves me very much. Home is a cozy place that brings me joy and comfort. Home is christmas eve and baking cookies in the kitchen with mom. It's also Christmas morning and the smell of bacon and eggs cooking for breakfast fills the air. Home is also waking up on my birthday and the house is all decorated just for me. Home is playing volleyball in the front yard with my brother on a Saturday evening. Home is long summer nights spent on the trampoline with my brother and neighbor until midnight. Home is lazy Sunday mornings with mom watching our favorite show. Home is nights spent with my cat Mittens. Home is more than just a place, it's a feeling of comfort, belonging, safety and love.
