Home Means Everything

Home means everything My home may just be a house to another, But to me it means so much more, Home is a blanket comforting me, Home has a very special place in my heart, Home guides me through the dark, As if you're following the north star, It helps you through the worst of times, when you can only see the dark, Home is a huge snow pile in the backyard, My brother pushing my face in to it, Snowball fights while my dad shovels, Home is camping in the summer, Late night marshmallows roasting Over an open fire, Hide and go seek at the playgrounds, Huge blisters from monkey bars, Home is long bike rides downtown, Biking around our court, Home is my brothers early Morning hockey practice, And throwing fits when he does chores, Home is wrestling with my brother, Him crying during our fake WWE matches, Home is maple curry chicken with Naan bread, my favourite, Afternoon smoothies blending, The rare occasion of late night snacks, Home is a place you can cry with no shame, Home is a giant magnet pulling me Into my parents arms, HOME MEANS EVERYTHING
