Home to me

I may have forgotten all the memories I had before I came to Canada. But I know one thing I will never forget, the place my mom gave birth to me, Nigeria. But now that I am in Canada, I will grow my memories here. Home to me is when me and my brother fight over what to watch on the tv, When I eat my mom’s food, then my family and I have a talk about our day. When I am on my tablet and my mom says enough, when we visit family friends. When we are at our cousins and play NBA 2k25. When I am outside, I dribble with my basketball. When the smell that makes my stomach growl for dinner, this is what my home feels like.
