Meaning of Home

Home is a place where I feel myself complete, like when I walk in and brace a hug from my dad greeting me as I enter, the sweet smell of my moms candles soothes my stress, it's my number one place to escape reality. Home is not a home without a family there for my comfort and protection. My xbox is ready for my dad and me to play. When I'm home a warm comfort wraps around me like a big blanket that puts no pressure on me and lets me walk freely. A home is pretty different from a house. A home is a place where you feel a connection and like you belong. A house can come in many different ways, a lot of wood logs stacked on top of each other can be a home just because your home it's where you turn it into a place of safety and prosperity. Home in the grand scheme of things is not just a building, it's where you adapt and thrive freely. When I get home I feel loved, cared for, and tired.
