Home is comforting

After school I walked down the street with my brother. I smell the food from the house. When I come home I see my mom cooking in the kitchen and then I go greet her. She is making jollof and rice. Home is like baking cupcakes with my sister and Mom. But my mom helps us get the ingredients we're going to use to make the cupcakes. Sometimes we have movie nights like on special occasions. We watch movies like Home Alone. Home feels like me lying down on my bed with my fluffy pillow and my blanket. I like to sleep with my special bear too. I like my mom's food and I like spending time with my family watching movies and sleeping on my bed.
