My Home

My home is a place where we love. A home is in your mind. A house is a place for shelter. I love my home in the best ways like having my own room. My home feels like a cozy blanket or a warm fire. The hot blazing fire warms my feet. It feels like a big hug or a fluffy dog snuggling you. A home feels like a big couch. My home sounds like my brother screaming, the sizzling of bacon, the tv playing, my brother running around or my dog barking throughout the day. My home smells like eggs on the stove, my dog sleeping in mud, taking a bath in the lake or my Mom or dad sweating. My home is not just a shelter it is not a place you sleep, feel safe, love, feel grateful and hope. You have fun and happiness. A home is pride and a home can move with you but a house can't. My home means love to me, My home is peace… to me my home is hope, family and friends. My home is kindness and love. My home matters because my home is a safe place in this world no matter what.
