What Makes A House A Home

Home! Sometimes, the mere word causes happiness. Let’s go home, said by millions of people, in millions of languages, though many still don’t understand the TRUE meaning of the term. Home for many people can mean safety, love, warmth, hope, joy, and peace. I am here to tell you what truly makes a house a home. I believe that home is a sanctuary, a safe place where nobody will laugh if you tell your secrets. It’s a place where you can be yourself and nobody will judge. It is a place where you can be anything you want and they will support you. For me, I can write and read endless stories and no one calls you the word nerd. Home is filled with love and hope. Home is your comfort zone with the things you love. Sometimes it’s a beloved pet, for others it’s having a roof over your head and a warm bed to sleep in. Home to me is the clothes, books, and many other things that were bought for me with love.
