What Home Means to Me

Home is a place where I can be me. Home is a place where I can have fun and be myself. I can have my friends come over to play with me, or I go to their house because they live so close to me. This makes me feel happy because I have somewhere to go if I need to. For example, when I have forgotten my key to my house and could not get in, I have gone to my friend Amaris’ or my friend Ethan’s house. My nanna also lives across the street from my house, so I could go there too. Living close to my nanna and my friends makes me feel good because I have a lot of people to help me. In my room. I can watch movies on my television and sometimes I will even eat some yummy popcorn. On special nights, sometimes me and my mom will make pizza and have a movie night. Sometimes my mom and I play games, like our favourite Star Wars video game, and I win the levels when I sneakily distract my mom. This is why my home is awesome and means a lot to me.
