Home

A home is special. A home can be mistaken for a house. In most eyes, there is no difference, but the educated, the grateful, the honest, the kind, the hopeful and the respectful all know there is a heart – touching difference. A house is a building, a place, a thing, except a home is where everyone and everything that you love is, a home is your own, a home is what you want it to be. Take a moment to think about your current shelter, do you consider it a house or a home? Take another second to think about your childhood shelter, house or home? At my shelter, everything and everyone I love is with me. My body, my heart and my soul feel safe there. All of the memories come flooding back like a stream at sunset. One home can change lives.
