Meaning of Home

Home. A common word used to describe a physical structure where people live but really is that how you describe home? Home to me is an unbreakable thing, an invisible thing because home doesn’t always have to be a structure. I’m from Vancouver but I live in Calgary so both are my home right? Well no because Vancouver is where I grew up for 6 years so that place to me is my home. When I come home from school I open the door and immediately smell my Dad making dinner, mostly pizza. I can only hear the loud meows of all 3 of my cats asking for food or to play fetch. I always see my brother and sister either playing Roblox or Minecraft. I sometimes join but mostly practice soccer, football or hockey. After I play Pokemon I normally feel the cooling fans blowing very hot air against my face or my Switch starts to burn my hands. At dinner I taste the really good pizza that probably burns my mouth. Thanks for listening to my paragraph on what home means to me.
