The meaning of home

The meaning of home to me makes me feel safe and surrounded by family and friends. My house smells like truck diesel; one of my favourite smells. It makes me think of going fast, driving around with my dad. We travel together, leaving home but always return to the house where it’s safe, fun and cozy. We have fluffy blankets, a comfy couch where dad and I sit watching tv together. My family leaves home to hit the trails on our ski doos. When we return home it’s always warm, happy and relaxing. We munch on pineapple and chat about the fun we had together. That’s what home means to me!
