Where I Belong

For me, the meaning of home is a place where you feel cozy, safe, and loved. You should also be able to express your feelings without being made fun of or laughed at. You should be able to let those teardrops fall from your eyes. It’s not just the food, water, or video games, but it’s the people that make home special. The memories, all of that, that’s what home is. Home should be something that makes you happy, not sad. You can be yourself, not someone else. For example, if you like something that maybe is more for girls or more for boys, and your friends think it’s dumb, at home, if you like it, you should just like it. At home, you can do anything and be anything you want. It should be a safe environment where you don’t get bullied or hurt. Home doesn’t have to be a house or a person. It can be a rink, a ball, or a court. It can be anything special to you, something that makes you feel nice, safe, and cozy, not the opposite. So yeah, that’s what I think home is. At least, that’s what it is to me.
