The house that became my home

HOME That's what I left. I had to say farewell to my belonging place. A house I had roots in, a house I grew up in. But it was more than a house, It was HOME We moved away, to a foreign country. A house I did not belong in. But now over time, I have a new house, a new home a place to have memorable feelings, To cry, love, laugh and be myself. This house is now my home. Even though one day I’ll spread my wings and fly away That feeling, that emotion, Will turn any house, Big or Small, Blemished or Untouched, Into HOME
