Meaning of Home

Have you ever wondered what home means? Some say home means shelter, others say it's family. But to me, home is a lot more important. The first thing that comes to mind is a safe place to live, away from all danger. It does not need to be fancy, but it needs to have a meaning, a memory; it needs to be important to you. It can’t just be any ordinary house. But to me, home also means family. If you want to call a home a home, it needs to have a family. I love my family without whom a home would not be a home. Another thing is the people around my home. If my home is surrounded by rude, disrespectful people, a home would not be a home. If you call a home a home, it should be surrounded by caring people such as your friends. To me, this is the meaning of home. Without these, a home would not be a home.
