Home From Heart

When you think of home you might think it's a house with walls, a roof, and running water. But when I think of home it's a place that comes from the heart. My home is a place where I can stay. My home is a place where I can sit at the dinner table and enjoy my meal. My home is a place where I can come back from school and feel adored. My home is a place where I can feel safe, with people that value me. My home is a place where I can talk with others without being scared. Home for me is where I hear the popcorn popping in the microwave and laughter filling the air as we watch our favorite movie. My home is the place where I grew up, and all the memories that my family and I have. My home is a place where my family helped me become who I am now. My home hasn't always been like this, it has grown bigger over the years with more and more love, and that's why I think everyone should deserve a home like this one because I feel safe and loved every second of my life.
