A Home and a House

A home and a house are different. A house is another person's house. A house has basic things that I need: tables, chairs, stove and many more things. But home is an incredibly special place. It was where I was raised. Where my family is. It was where I started to make memories with my family. A home has special things that are meaningful to you. It’s where you can be yourself. A home doesn’t have to be a special house, it can be a city, province, or your country. A home can’t be torn apart unlike a house because my home is forever secured in my heart. This is why I am grateful for Habitat for Humanity, for building homes for people and not just a house.
