What Home Means To Me

Home to some people is a really strong word, but this is what home means to me. My home is a place where I feel comfortable and happy with my family. At home I always smell different food getting prepared and the fresh air coming through the open glass door on the balcony. I always know when I'm home because of the heavenly smell and taste and of my mom's world famous pasta alfredo. For me my home feels like my favorite blanket that I got from my grandma that I brought all the way from Iran for memories. When I always come home from school, I see my parents welcoming me back home. I know when I am home I always hear food getting cooked, and my family members talking to each other having a good time. A home is beyond just four walls and a roof. A home can be anywhere you feel comfortable and loved, it’s some place you have a connection with, or just some place you really like. There are basically endless possibilities of what a home is. So if you feel down just remember that you are lucky enough to even have a home. That is what a true home means to me.
