What Home Means To Me

If I were to compare having a home and not having one, how would I feel? The reason my home feels like a home is my family laughing with smiles on their faces. Another reason it feels like a home is because my pet is waiting for me when I come home. My home makes me feel comfortable and loved. It makes me feel safe with all the love that is there. I smell the candle my Mom lit and I can feel the love that they have for me. If I didn’t have a home, I am guessing that I would feel sad and lonely, not knowing if I will be safe. I would have very little hope and joy. If I didn’t have a home I would have no stuffies waiting for me. If I didn’t have a home, who would greet me at the door when I come back from a hard day at school? Who would make me feel comfortable and safe and loved? If I didn’t have a home I wouldn’t see so many smiles every morning. If I didn’t have a house I wouldn’t have a cozy bed or warm clothes to wear every morning. If I didn’t have a home I would live on the streets without a home. When I drive around town and see people who don’t have a home it makes me feel sad and makes me wonder what it would be like if I didn’t have a house. My home is a special place and I don’t want to ever take that for granted.
