My Home

Home is the place where I can be free to do whatever I want to. My home is also my safe place where I have my parents to keep me safe and keep me in their care. I adore my home because when I come home I am excited to go get a snack if I am hungry, and I open my cupboard and am so thankful to have that much food. After I have a snack I go to my bedroom and play until my mom announces, “time for dinner!” I run to the dinner table to eat supper. I love my pet, I have a cat and he is adorable. He is part of our home. On the cold winter nights when it is frigid outside I cuddle close to my mom and I get warm. I am so blessed to have a home, I can’t imagine living on the streets or without a home to go to on freezing winter days in a blizzard. What would it be like to not have food to eat when I am hungry? I can’t imagine not having a pet and parents who love me. I don’t know what it would be like if my mom wasn’t there to warm me up when I was cold. It is my prayer that everyone would have a warm, safe home one day so they can know what it would be like to have all of the things that I have.
