The House That Holds Me

The house that holds me strong and true, With walls that wrap around like glue. Its windows let the sunlight in, Where every day new dreams begin. The door that opens, wide and free, Inviting all who come to see. The rooms are filled with love and grace, It is a peaceful, quiet, perfect place. The stairs that creak with every step, Each corner holds a memory that’s kept. The roof above, so safe and high, It shelters me beneath the sky. Through every storm, through every sun, This house and I are always one. The house that holds me, day and night, A home that makes the world feel right.
