A home is your own

A house is a building that could have anything, just a structure for shelter. A home has trust, peace and hope. A home is a place you can truly call your own, your own room, that one thing you really love, it may be a cozy blanket, a soak in a bubble bath but for me, it's my pets. A home is a place you can make your own. A house is someone's else, not your own. A home is where you can share your thoughts with family. A friend's house might be cool but it's not like yours. When you get home, you get the familiar feeling of home, maybe with your pets or favourite toy. Each home is unique in it's own way. A home has memories that you'll have forever. A home has laughter, love - the stuff you can't buy from a store and that's what makes a home a home. Habitat for Humanity is helping people get a home with your donations for supplies to build these homes.
