A place to call home

A place to call home a nice little spot, a place I like. I like it a lot. The living room is a place I go a lot. I go there to rest whenever I go there with my cats I feel blessed. The kitchen where I find my parents a lot they’re always cooking something either in a pan or pot ,it always smells good no matter the meal. The food is so good I tend to steal. The hallway is full of trinkets from trips, masks from all over the world, some paper from Mexico with hopefully no rips. Some wooden sculptures and some gem sculptures to some of them brown some of them blue. The dining room full of memories from before we got told “come eat dinner” and there would be food galore from turkey chicken to soup as such we would be so hungry it felt like a crutch. After that meal we would really feel it ready for bed even though my kitten likes to steal it she has her own bed of course but she is cold and needs to huddle we hop in to bed ready to cuddle with the door closed we are finally asleep sometimes my mom checks on me a quick peep. Though it might not be my home forever, at least I'm home with my family together. It's not a house where people just live, it's a place to call home a place to give.
