My Home

My home is cozy and warm, it can make it through any storm. It has a roof over my head, it has a couch, a sink, a bed. It has too many rooms to count, it has stairs that go up and down. The laundry machine spins and twirls, it shelters my family of boys and girls. The backyard is full of flowers. I can sit and read a book for hours. I can sit down and watch T.V., it doesn't have one bed, not two, but three. I can hear my dog barking away, it’s got a playroom so I can play. I sleep in my bed all night, with happy dreams and no fright. It stands tall in the wind, it has a smell of candy and mints. It is as big as a bear, it has a shower to wash my hair. I love my home and my family does too, without it I don't know what I’d do. There are some people that dont even have a sink, but with Habitat for Humanity that won't be a thing.
