The Meaning of Home

Home isn’t always a place. It’s the people, and the memories you make. Through the laughter shared, and stories told, The comfort they give, a treasure to hold. My mom and dad, I’ve always known, In their smiles, love is shown. Always there, standing tall, Through ups and downs, they catch my fall. In the comfort of a glance, or a familiar song, Memories remind us where we truly belong. They shape our identities, as our story unfolds, In the journey of life, they make us feel whole. A house is a place with things, and more, While a home has people you love, and memories galore. A home is where you feel safe, Not like any other familiar place. Home is not only a place, but a feeling so deep, A bond that we cherish, a promise we keep. In the embrace of family, where love finds its way, Home is the heart of who we are each day.
