Meaning of Home

What is the difference between a house and a home? The difference is that, a house is the structure of where you live and, a home is where you share memories with others and find comfort in. A house is a place with walls, floors, and a roof where you can sleep, bathe, and eat, houses can be different sizes or be made out of many materials. A home is where you can show your emotional feelings and build relationships, homes can also have arguments or even laughter. Some people lose their homes or houses due to sad incidents so, it is important to make sure you are grateful for your house and homes. A home to me means a lot because when I might feel blue or upset, home is a place where I can go to calm down and relax my mind. My home is my family, and my friends I trust. Some people may feel discomfort in their house but, home is a place where you can escape stress and other problems. It is also important to give someone a home if they don’t have one. No matter how much times you move houses, your home will always stay in your heart. Although a house is there to give you shelter, a home can take care of your mental health. Those are the differences between a house and a home and what it means to me.
