Joy

Today I'm going to tell you what home means to me and why you deserve a nice warm, joyful and welcoming home with pets and a family that loves you. Everyone deserves to feel joy in their own house. Habitat for Humanity helps deserving families build houses and spreads the joy around. Home is somewhere I feel safe because there are locks on my doors and I live in a safe area. It makes me feel safe because we lock our doors at night just in case someone tries to break in. I also feel safe because other people are around the house like my mom, my dad, my brother and I also feel safe because my dog will protect me. He doesn't like other animals or other people. Everytime he sees someone or another animal he will bark at them and growl at them because my parents taught him to protect me and my brother including my mom and dad. Now I'm going to talk about how my family makes my house feel like a home. First, my parents buy me things for my room and other stuff to make it feel more like home. My family also makes my house feel like a home because they do lots of fun stuff with me in my home like play board games and card games. They also play hockey with my brother. In your home you can also have a lot of memories. Like when you are little you may have learned how to walk and talk when you're at your home. And you could have bought your first pet and then had a whole bunch of other memories with your pet, and there is your family, you could also have so much great memories with your family in your home like playing a whole bunch of games and watching your guy's favourite movie. There are so many memories you can have in your home it's amazing!And that is what home means to me. Everyone deserves a nice warm home and a family that loves you.
