Home
Home. Envision that. I’m sure you thought of something along the lines of a roof, windows and a couple of doors. But homes are a WAY more than that. They are memories, (Good and Bad) laughter and being together. That is the point that I am going to prove in this piece.
Memories are a ginormous part of feeling happy in a home. Whether it’s laughing around a dinner table or just watching a movie. Sometimes the memories are bad but they are memories nonetheless.
Sometimes when you come home from a trip or have not been in your home for a while you get a pretty vivid smell of something like the last meal you ate there or the overall smell of your home.
One thing home is is a place where you are basically forced to spend time with your family. Weekends are times when you have all the time in the world to do what you want when you want. But since you are clumped together with these people - you do that activity with them and usually you have quite a lot of fun doing that.
This was my writing piece about what home means to me for you at Habitat for Humanity and you do at this wonderful organization is truly meaningful,
impactful and touching.
