WHAT HOME MEANS TO ME

When I wake up, I feel my mom shaking me. My home is a place that not even 1 million dollars would trade for. A house is much different than a home; a home is a place of love, but a house, it’s just four walls and a roof. A home is for telling stories and playing games. When I return from school, I am starving. When I open the door, I can smell the pasta or steak. My mom's food is very good and I love it. Sometimes, I also help them by making the juice and rarely the pasta, and if I do help them make the pasta, I just grab the stuff that they use to make it. After I eat, I go straight to reading because I like reading books. When my friends come over, we have tons of fun, but sometimes we get in trouble, and we still get out of it. Most of the time we play on the iPad, but sometimes we go outside and play. If it is summer, we play soccer or just lay down on the grass. My friend and I, when we have a playdate, we either play soccer or video games. I like playing with Lego but he doesn't, so we don't really play with Lego. Now that it is winter, we go out and play in the snow. When my dad is home, we play yoga ball tag. Once, when I was trying to get my dad, I accidentally hit a jar, and it hit the wall, which made a hole in the wall. I was sad, but my dad forgave me. My home is a place for playing. Thank you, Habitat for Humanity, for helping people to have homes!
