Meaning of Home

Home is a place filled with laughter, it’s a place where you can be you. It;s a place where you can have your own culture and beliefs, it is a place where you celebrate who you are. Home cannot be a place if your loved ones are not there. A place to smile and cry, sometimes you feel that you don’t belong, but you really do. Home is a place where you can expose all of your colors. It is a place where you can talk about all of your problems and ask for help. Maybe you could be as sweet as honey dripping down freshly cooked waffles, you can also be as bad as a nasty, dreadful, stinky garbage can. All of your belongings are there. Your toys, stuffies, and much more! It fills your nose with so much love and laughter. It may sometimes taste sweet, sour or even spicy. But only 1 place in the world has these moments, and that is YOUR home. BUT it is very sad to say that some people are currently living homeless, and have not been eating for days! Aren’t we people who do have homes lucky? Wait a minute, what about the people that are homeless? What will happen to them? Well then let’s thank Habitat for Humanity for being so generous and caring to make homes and help those people. You can do something to help, you can volunteer to help those people and be a part of Habitat for Humanity too!
