Meaning Of Home

+*----------------------------Meaning of home-----------------------------------------*+ When I think of home, I think of a nice, calm, positive place where I can express myself. I think of my loving family and my childhood. When I was little, my family would always have fun, memorable times together. We would watch our favourite movies, and play board games together. ESPECIALLY Snakes and Ladders and Charades. One of my favourite memories was during my 9th birthday when we got to eat the most delicious chocolate cake. It was such an exciting day, but I think the day before my birthday was even more exciting. I could hardly fall asleep! Another amazing memory I created in my home, was every Christmas Eve, when my family makes the BEST sugar cookies in the whole world! I loved decorating them with my older brother, but the most fun part was eating the dough. It tasted even better than the sugar cookies themselves! A great memory I have is when my cheer team got to bring snacks and wear pajamas to practice. Me and my mom made chocolate cupcakes. They tasted amazing, and I couldn’t wait to bring them to cheer. A while after I had brought the cupcakes, I noticed that not very many people took the cupcakes. At the end of cheer, one of my coaches said that the cupcakes I brought were delicious, which made me really happy. When I got home, I realized that the fewer people who took a cupcake, meant more cupcakes to bring back home to eat myself. And the rest of my family, too, of course. Home is a big part of everyone’s childhood. Home is a warm, cozy place to relax after long days. It’s a place full of love and memories. This is what home means to me. 🏠🙂
