Meaning Of Home

I’ve lived in Canada most of my life but I was born in Mexico. I moved to Canada when I was 3 years old. Canada and Mexico means home to me. Home is the place I grew up in and where I lived my whole life, a place I knew was safe to express myself and not be judged. Home means my family, when I got bullied and just needed someone to help me feel better my family was there to help. Home means to me playing make believe, I would always wrap myself in a blanket and pretend to be an animal one time I was a manatee. My brother would pull me across the living room floor and I would pretend to be swimming in the ocean while he was pulling me. Home means a lot of things but these reasons are most important for me.
