A Home Can Mean A Lot

My home looks like a place that would be awesome and fun. If my home were a sound, it would be my dog barking and people telling each other they love them. My home smells like the delicious tocos being made on the kitchen stove “yum”. If my home were a taste, it would be the best meatballs anyone has ever tasted. My home feels like a big giant cozy warm hug. A home is a lot more than just four walls, one roof and a door. A home is a place where you feel warm and cozy and sometimes you even feel a little hug on your heart. A house is a place where all that there is, is a couch, chair and no one waiting for you to come home and open the door. A home is a place where you can laugh, have fun and be who you want to be. A house is a place that has nothing to have fun with sometimes you feel not safe or cozy and warm. In the winter you can get really cold if you are not warm enough and if you get too cold you could get really sick and that is not good. That is why a home can mean a lot. Thank you Habitat for Humanity for organizing this amazing and awesome writing competition for kids to have fun with and also for the people that do not have a home.
