The meaning of home

My dogs and birds make me feel at home because they cuddle with me. They cheer me up when I’m sad. My dogs play outside with me. My birds fly around my head and land on my shoulder. Family and friends make me feel at home because they make my favorite brownies for dessert on special days. Like on my birthday and after special events. They also make me my favorite Mac and Cheese for dinner on special nights. They are polite by opening the doors for me at restaurants. They greet me when I get home from school or a friend’s house. They are honest because when something bad happens they tell me. My siblings don’t give me a hard time. They don’t make me more upset when I’m mad or sad. At home I feel comfortable because my siblings give me space. A home is a place where you are excepted for who you are. Home is where you can be yourself and know you won’t be judged. Home is where you are surrounded by those you love. My friends make me feel at home because they have almost the same personality as me. They cheer me up when I’m sad by playing man hunt, tag and hide and seek. They be themselves when I don’t think I can.
