Home…

A home is not a mere house—it is more than just four walls and a roof, some doors and windows, a staircase, and rooms connected by a hallway. It is not just a structure but a sanctuary. Home is safety, shelter, a place where stories can unfold and hearts can bloom. To me, home is where someone is always waiting for me—no matter how far I need to travel and how long it takes… a place where food brings comfort and words are spoken in my mother tongue – the language of my soul…a nook, where love wraps me like a warm blanket. It’s where laughter flows as freely as the air we breathe… where the silliest game with my sister becomes the greatest treasure of our life… where far becomes near over a video call, and I can live in two homes at once – here, where I am, and there, where my roots are… where I am allowed to dreams with no limits (like the sky), knowing that my hopes will be nurtured like rain nourishes the earth. Home is where growing up feels like a journey of love and support, not a burden. It is where memories are built—some joyful, some challenging—but the good ones fill the cracks left behind by the difficult ones, making life a space that feels whole. Home is like a boomerang-thrower: no matter how far you wander, you always find your way back. A place where you BELONG. They say, “Home is where the heart is…” I believe that home is where love is… where my loved ones are. Home. An emotion.
